Theme for Candahar

This recording was commissioned by Vancouver writer Michael Turner for Theo Sims’ “Candahar Bar” (a sculptural installation that operates as a dislodged Belfast Bar). Sims’ project was exhibited by Presentation House Gallery during the madness of the winter olympics in Vancouver, 2010. Michael Turner played a big part in organizing and programming activities to take place in the theater adjacent to the bar. He asked us to record this little ditty as a kind of opening jingle for every night’s activities.
